You are a hard worker. You slay the day. You try and eat right at every opportunity. You hit the gym or routinely exercise. But you are not happy with this drinking thing you have going on. And you may justify it by saying “It’s not THAT bad,” “It’s just a few.”
But it still NAGS at you. You still feel crummy about it. You put off doing anything about it; you’ll get to it someday. It’s just not a priority right now. You are procrastinating on your health/wellness. You don’t want to look back one day and say “I wish I had taken better car of myself when I had the chance.”
You don’t want to look back one day and say “I wish I had taken better car of myself when I had the chance.”
When you drink more than you want, you are:
- Mentally stuck (you THINK you want it but you know, on an intellectual level, it just makes things worse)
- Emotionally stuck (you FEEL life will be worse if you have less alcohol and you feel like your stress is not getting better or increasing)
- Physically stuck (your weight is stable or climbing despite your nutritional intake and exercise and you have less energy)
You may not be able to see how your drinking is affecting so many areas of your life. When you cut back on your drinking, all of this can reverse. Making this a priority now can be a game changer in many areas of your life.
It’s so worth it.
